At the beginning of alphabet learning that was very difficult to explain kids that every word consists of letters. And its very important which letter every word starts with.

For this class I prepared printed words without first letter and kids had to guess which letter every word goes to: for example, i printed out the word “FROG” and cut off first letter (I did the same with all words) and put cut off letters separated.

After I ask a child which letter “..ROG” goes to and student should give me an answer and find an appropriate letter for this word.

This kind of classes is very useful specially for kids who cant clearly identify words and which letter every words starts with.
